Singapore's premier cello quartet, Bossa Celli is made up of a group of cellists who are passionate about the cello and making music together.

 

As a group Bossa Celli seeks to develop on the classical music tradition by pushing the boundaries of cello playing and to make music fun and relevant for audiences in the 21st century. The expressive range and versatility of the cello as a melodic, bass or even percussive instrument allows the group to perform music from just about every music genre, from the music of Baroque masters to the groove of Bossa Nova.

 

Since their debut music video cover of “I Want You Back” in 2017, Bossa Celli has continued to create new music video covers and give public performances to audiences, including their most recent performance “Pictures at an Exhibition” at the Light to Night Festival 2020. In 2019, Bossa Celli also released their debut EP titled “The Bossa Collection”.
